<rss xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title>Peer Pressure - Latest Comments in Synthesis </title><link>http://cdent.disqus.com/</link><description></description><atom:link href="https://cdent.disqus.com/synthesis/latest.rss" rel="self"></atom:link><language>en</language><lastBuildDate>Tue, 09 Jun 2009 05:32:26 -0000</lastBuildDate><item><title>Re: Synthesis </title><link>http://cdent.tumblr.com/post/119454584#comment-10645885</link><description>&lt;p&gt;I've been exploring the world of personality types again recently, and I'm wondering if there's something here in the MBTI J/P distinction, which (to over-simplify) is the split between people who want things settled and complete vs those who like to leave things open.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For the former, a wiki is a great tool for quickly evolving something and then keeping it as a record of that understanding, but generally the page, once tidied up into a coherent version of that, should stay that way unless something major comes up later.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For that latter, it's OK for the page to remain more messy: in fact it's that mess that makes it more interesting, and more likely for a serendipitous or unexpected discovery to appear when following or making connections.
